NetBeans and Connections

This has been a challenging week with my website. I spent most of my practice time trying to make a connection between NetBeans and my website. Once the connection was finally established, I created my index page. Then I found that I was sending my page to a file on the site. When I corrected that I finally was able to load the index page on my site!

Deliberate Practice Time

I spent about 12 hours this week working on my site. Most of it was spent on troubleshooting the connections. I have memorized the connection settings! I spent about two hours uninstalling and reinstalling the NetBeans and Filezilla programs. The program had become locked, which took a lot of time to overcome. Besides memorizing the connection settings, I got a lot of practice collaborating with others and with forums on how to solve problems. I started to see which collaborations were more useful.

Planning

During this time, I spent an hour brainstorming the type of content I would like to add. I then started the process of collecting the content. I spent the rest of my time creating the index page.
