Lesson 3 Practice Journal

This is an education project for a fictional producer of straw widgets.

What I did this week

I spent a lot of this week reading the information that would help me build my site. So I only spent about 3 hours practicing actual coding. I did add my Assessments with the Deliberate Practice Plan and Site Plan pages. I created the links on those pages and my Home Page.

My Challenges

I have my original Practice Plan in the project file, but it shows up as a 404 error page. I worked to repair that, but I have not figured out what is wrong. I did notice that I had an extra double quote on the page, but removing it did not solve my problem. This is an HTML5 file, but I think I may need to just delete it and retype it.

NetBeans

I worked with NetBeans to organize my site, but I can’t seem to move files around. I still have a lot to learn about how NetBeans functions. At least I am able to code pages, and edit the code.
